Iittala Group is a leading design company in homewares. The turnover of Iittala Group in 2005 was 168 million euros and the number of personnel was 1425. The owners of Iittala Group are its operative management together with ABN AMRO Capital.
Iittala’s resellers are usually small companies that are very scattered around the globe. Iittala wanted to offer its resellers an e-commerce solution.
The goal was to reduce ”mechanic” workload of Iittala customer service and offer resellers the possibility of making orders 24/7 instead of just limiting it to normal working hours. |
